Castle Handyman Service – Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

Castle Handyman Service (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides general handyman services including but not limited to: general repairs, electrical, plumbing, welding, and carpentry work.

All services will be performed in a professional and workman like manner according to industry standards.

2. Estimates and Pricing

All price estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

Final pricing may vary based on the actual conditions, materials required, and client-approved changes to the original scope of work.

3. Deposits and Payments

A deposit is required before work begins to secure scheduling and materials.

The remaining balance is due in full upon completion of the agreed-upon work, on the same day services are finished, unless otherwise specified in writing.

Payments may be made via cash, or approved electronic transfer.

4. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. All labor is covered by a 30-day service warranty from the completion date.

This warranty covers only defects in workmanship. It does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or third parties

  • Client-supplied materials

If an issue arises under warranty, Castle Handyman Service will repair or replace the affected work at no additional charge within the warranty period.

5. Materials and Ownership

Unless otherwise agreed, Castle Handyman Service provides all necessary materials and retains ownership of those materials until full payment is received.

Any unused materials purchased for the project remain the property of Castle Handyman Service.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Castle Handyman Service reserves the right to reschedule work due to weather, safety issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

7. Access to Property

The client agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area during scheduled service hours.

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from restricted access.

8. Liability and Insurance

Castle Handyman Service is insured for liability related to our work.

However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing issues

  • Damage due to hidden defects or unsafe conditions not visible during the initial inspection

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the service

Clients are responsible for securing personal property and ensuring the work area is safe before service begins.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Castle Handyman Service’s total liability exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, and any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts of Washoe County.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By hiring Castle Handyman Service or signing an estimate or invoice, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
